Fantastic!!!
With very quick set-up in minimal space, an overwhelmingly beautiful display and great sound, intuitive use for the installed programs I have used (which is most of them), and super fast computing ($70 4 Gb Apple memory upgrade purchased from a third party is highly recommended. Google it.), this was an excellent purchase.
There are, to be sure, no significant complaints at all. The problems I have experienced have to do with pre Pro-Tools 8 installations as they froze the system several times. Those problems have nothing to do with OS X and entirely to do with Digidesign since they have entirely cleared up with Pro-Tools version 8. There are two tiny dust particles that have settled behind the glass that covers the display. I mean to contact AppleCare to find out if I can pull this glass out and clean it without damaging the computer, but have yet to do so. Apple should seal this glass or make it removable for cleaning (if it isn’t already).
As someone who has used Macs (pre OS X) and PCs (2000-XP), I highly recommend this computer and operating system for everyone.

Love my new Mac!
Having waited much too long to upgrade (6-or 7-yr-old iMac, v. 10.1.5) I adore my new iMac. The 20″ screen is plenty big enough for home use (I’m a teacher). It plays DVDs just fine… real ones and burned. Good sound, except it won’t go quite high enough on DVDs. Great photo applications for using the built-in web cam or uploading your own.

Buying from Amazon was a breeze: with a $[...] rebate, no tax, and no shipping, I paid less than with an educator discount direct from [...]. The box arrived speedily within 2 days.

I know some have complained about the shiny screen, but it’s not an issue for me.

The one thing I didn’t like is having to purchase MicrosoftOffice 2008 separately, for $109. Older Macs had it installed already.

Apple Imac
I use to own pc’s but after using an apple I will not go back.. The IMAC is an excellent computer, fast, no viruses. It just takes time to learn how to use it.
