Improved with the Latest OS Upgrade5
General: I have now had this phone for 18 months, and although not perfect, it is the best phone or even PDA that I have used. I am pretty hard on PDA’s and break them in about a year - so far so good with this phone. It is unlocked and I run it on T-Mobile pay as you go (very cheap and as good as AT&T for service here in Indiana). Initially, the phone would occasionally drain its battery after only an hour or two. I discovered that using Swiss Manager to close running applications was a good work around to prevent this. Recently, I upgraded the operating system to the latest version, and it seems to have corrected this issue. I have had no other stability issues. The screen can be seen in sunlight, but I would like if it were a bit larger in size. Battery life depends on closeness to a cell tower and as I am in a fringe area, I only get about 3 days before I run out of juice (using it a few minutes per day). Running the music player, I get about 5 hours, but the camera will drain the battery in an hour or two!

Software: Software to edit Microsoft Word documents and spreadsheets comes included. The included calendar, alarm clock and address book are a bit more versatile than those found with the Palm OS. There is lots of software available for this phone [..]. I have installed the Big Encyclopedia that runs on Mobipocket, but it is apparently to big to install automatically the usual way, so I used the Media Manager to install it on a memory card. I have also installed a dictionary, a password manager and a better calculator than comes with it. I also recommend Swiss Manager when you need a more powerful file manager.

Keyboard: I like it. There is also a touch screen keyboard that can be used.

Camera: Outdoors it takes 3 Meg pictures that look as if they came from a dedicated digital camera, although they look a bit better re-sized to 2 Meg size. Indoors the results are very noisy and good only if you are desperate.

Other: The phone uses a Sony connector for headphones, but cheap adapters for a standard stereo plug are available. The CPU runs a little slow for the demands of the phone, so sometimes there is a little wait to load software. As with other phones, the FM radio needs the headphones attached to act as an antenna, but then reception is good. Unfortunately, Sony uses their micro-MemoryStick (which is hard to find) instead of an SD card.

best phone i ever seen.5
this is the best phone i ever bought in my life.
this phone have each and every thing u want.

The best5
Is the best phone. It can manage many tasks at the same time, while you browse the web it also works like a phone. The Task manager gives you short cuts to all the open programs without any conflict. Very good. I love Symbian and SonyEricsson.
