Disk failed within a year of use
Beware…. the hard disk failed within a year of use. Repair costs more than buying a new ipod. And I have an ipod nano 1st generation that is 3 years old and working perfectly, with the same rate of usage.
Refurbished/Any Warranty
My daughter bought this refurbished item several months ago, and it’s been acting up–sometimes it plays, sometimes not. We’ll have to take it to an Apple store to see what the problem is, and I don’t know if any warranty is applicable. Have to check with Amazon.
30 wonderful GBs 
This is a music lovers dream. This holds more than what I can listen to on any given day. Not to mention the audio books, podcasts, music videos, need I say more. This is by far the best purchase from Amazon yet.
