Poor documentation. Awkward to use.1
I was looking for something simple to use. This is not it. It is not intuitively obvious and the documentation is very poor. Also I can rotate a picture and it stays rotated but if I zoom a picture it reverts back to the original. This is my first experience with a digital frame so maybe I’m just a dummy but I don’t recommend it. I didn’t load their software because I once bought a Kodak camera and the software for that was very intrusive and annoying.

I like it for basic photos4
When I bought this for my grandparents, I was looking for something easy. To be frank, I just wanted a flash drive port. All I had to do was plug the frame in, insert the card, and hit go. Poof! Easy as pie for grandma and grandpa. I have no intent to explore all the features that probably made this so expensive, but if you’re in the same situation I am, it works. And on a Mac too. :)

Quality did not meet my expectations1
I purchased two of these for Christmas gifts. I opened one to pre-load with pictures and came across my first disappointment. You cannot connect this frame directly to a PC. There is a USB connection, but it is meant to connect to a camera. This is great for new photos, but not for old ones you have stored on your PC.

The frame accepts the new SDHC memory cards, which is great, but my PC did not recognize them. I was going to have to purchase a USB SDHC card reader if I wanted to get the pictures onto the frame.

I happened to have an old SD card in my camera, so I used it to see how the pictures would appear on the screen. I couldn’t believe how grainy the images were. This was the last straw, and I promptly packaged everything back up to return. What a disappointment. I really wanted to give these as gifts because of the touchscreen capability. I had to send them back because I knew I would always regret giving a gift with such poor display quality.
