Bought this for a gift, so I haven’t used it
I bought this for a gift and will give it next week, so don’t know how well it holds up. I do like the look of the pot and if it works well for my daughter, I may buy one also.

Excellent Oven and Even Better With New Knob
As has been noted by several other reviewers, the dutch oven is great and performs on par with the high end LaCreuset varieties. Not only that, but the faded blue looks great in any kitchen.

The only weak link in this design is the previously mentioned plastic knob, which is susceptible to melting. However, this issue can be fixed by simply replacing the knob which unscrews easily. I found a quality cast iron knob in a restaurant supply store that fits perfectly and makes this dutch oven perfect. You can also find a damaged LaCreuset dutch oven and purchase the knob from it on Ebay or Craigslist once in a while. Great product!

Darn Good So Far
I’ve only used it three times. So far so good. Seems every bit as good as those expensive French pots. It’s thick,heavy and cleans up well.

I used my consumer magarzine recommended lead test kit on it. No lead detected.
